The Spanish audiovisual authority offers consumers a complaint resolution service through the AUTOCONTROL jury

The National Audiovisual Commission (CNMC) is responsible for controlling and sanctioning advertising on television, radio, content sharing platforms and advertising distributed by influencers (“users of singular relevance”). The CNMC has included a link on its website that allows consumers to submit their complaints about advertising to the AUTOCONTROL jury, as an alternative to an administrative complaint.

This development is made possible by the agreement signed by AUTOCONTROL with the Spanish Audiovisual Authority to establish a self-regulation system for audiovisual commercial communications, including video-sharing platforms and commercial communications disseminated by influencers.
