Cross-border complaints (EASA)

The Cross-Border Advertising Complaints System, managed by the European Advertising Standards Alliance (EASA) and in which AUTOCONTROL participates, allows any consumer in the European Union to submit a complaint to the competent foreign advertising self-regulatory body through the equivalent body in their own country.

AUTOCONTROL handles complaints from Spanish consumers about advertisements appearing in foreign media or created by advertisers based abroad, and forwards them to the appropriate self-regulatory body in the advertiser’s country.
